Most probably won't care about this, but if you go to games the stadium will have a new look pretty good. Crews have been working to replace the seats at the stadium and there are dark grey seats randomly mixed in with the gold. I'm sure it'll look good when done, but those seats will be absolutely brutal in the late summer and early fall. I don't know if my seats are getting replaced. If they are, I hope I still have a gold seat.

Do the non-club level seats have some sort of rudimentary padding yet? Think about it like a padding option that’s a step down from club, but, offers the illusion that the organization believe every fan’s experience is of importance to the brand. If this is the Pittsburgh SEA, ownership needs to grow a spine. Who gives a d*** about the stadium optics of mismatched seats?

I’m in favor of it… not that my opinion matters much..

I always thought the yellow seats were hard on the eyes and also highlighted no shows too easily..

I know empty seats are probably good for Rooney to see, but does nothing to enhance the fandom of Steeler fans..

Just think,…… if you are lucky enough to get one of the “Gray” seats,…….. when you **** your pants, it won’t show up as much……..

I have no stake in the color scheme, but do know it will look “less” empty in this configuration. I kind of wish they would have incorporated the Blue & Red which is also in the Steeler Hypocycloid(s).

In any event it is an up-grade and now maybe we can get off the bottom of the voting on facility quality.

Rooney at his best!
Please be more concerned about the horrible playing field and get that fixed rather than add gray seats.

The seats are old and getting rusty. It was good they were ahead on replacements.

I agree here, and all joking aside …………. There is probably not enough cost difference in the colors, to say they are saving money.

I think the true reasoning is to help camouflage the empty seats from 1/2 time, the people returning.

If I would ever go to a game and pay the rapist pricing for tickets, I’d be sure the ticket was for a gold seat. The gray just doesn’t do it for me as I associate gray with the raiders, not the STEELERS.

Good luck to them and may the Steelers player be inspired through this color scheme.

My dad and I bought a bank of six seats (red in color) from Three Rivers Stadium. They have been positioned alongside his horseshoe pits for the last 20 years. We also have home plate from one of the bullpens.

Love it, nice to know the compassion is out there, well appreciated.
