It is with great sadness that I have to report that Shelia Jackson has passed. January 12, 1950 – July 19, 2024. An American lawyer and politician who was the U.S. representative for Texas's 18th congressional district, from 1995 until her death. She will forever be in our hearts and be remembered as a champion for the people.

S'all right, there are new lunatics coming up through the ranks like AOC and Ilhan Omar.

She was radical. Treated her staff like sh!t, just like Kamala does. Mark Twain said he didn't delight in someone's death but he enjoyed reading the obituary.

sad day for her family and friends and the people in her district that thought the token bullshit she did for them made them special

but her district is mainly made up of the poorer areas of Houston and she did nothing in her long career to remedy that

That woman was a radical and a racist, and should have at the minimum been censured. The house will likely be better because of her absence. With that being said, dying from that aggressive of a strain of cancer, really sucks. No one should have to go through that.

Some of her profoundly made comments that I'm paraphrasing...

"Where did we plant the flag on Mars?"
"Today there are two Vietnams, North and South, living side by side, sharing"
"Hurricanes have only lily-white names, blacks need represented too"

From that last statement had emerged a comment that is hilarious but racist.
Do I have permission to post it?

She rocked a cool collection of cowboy hats though.
