This is probably the most used word from watching the game on Gamecast Sunday since I couldn't get a stream to watch. Sounds easy to defend no matter how much you move around before the snap. Also would make it very hard to run against I would think.

Did you see how bad the throws were that weren't short?

The other popular word where I watched it was bunch. Not only was everything short but Canada also loved to cram every person in for passing and running. It was also awful to see how many times we only sent two receivers out, generally wide, and if they were covered there were no options or, really, practically required throwing a bad pass if you were going to throw at all.

But, Trubisky at least played the game manager no-mistake role and the defense (and special teams) earned the win.

What was even worse was Burrows 10000 turnovers. I think it is fair to say there was a lot of **** spread around the field in that game! But damn, was fun to watch the D (until they had been on the field like 45 mins and were dead).

It was like a couple of years ago when they didn't practice deep balls under Fichtner.

Well, they sure don't seem to be practicing deep balls under O'Canada either ..?

Salute the nation

I don't dislike Moats at all. Quite the contrary. But I do find it amusing that he seems to see himself as a Steeler despite the fact he barely played anything but SP teams.

As per Tomlin this was the game plan seems to be the same thing last year. Did we make a first down more than five times on second and first downs? When you can't make more than two three yards on first downs with this Canada offense we are in trouble. Watching some of the practices seems all the receivers are running short stop routes, that is what is practiced. It is easy to get on the QB but really this line is pushed back 90 percent of the time, no matter who is the QB will still have to find time and a lane to step into the pass for any reception. If Canada will not call the play hard to see what we can do down the field to either receivers or TE. A busted play Sunday Mitch on his own hits the TE for a big gain, so de we blame the QB on that play as well. WE won the game. We have a terrible line and an OC that seems to want to be conservative till the very last moment if we fall behind.
