Shouldn't overhype a kid before he does anything

A QB will have to throw over 5 yards to ultimately find out.

George can't throw the ball to himself. He has been open yet not gotten the chance. I'm not sure Mitch can read further down the reads to actually get to him. Mitch seems to be in to big a hurry or doesn't understand the "D" for the read tree transgression.

EDIT: Play calling doesn't seem to be very good. How come there are no roll outs with two reads or run ? To much left on the plate fro OC who is in over his head.

Trubisky generally hasn't looked his way. However, I did read the Steelers were "hiding" him during the preseason. They should've been giving him a ton of work.
 
Belichick was huddled with players on the sideline looking at the computer. You never see Tomlin do that. I wonder why?

Gotta know how to turn it on first. And even if he did you really think he wants anyone realizing he has no idea what he is doing with the X's and O's.
 
I'm not ******** on George. There are multiple issues with this offense that will not get fixed in season because it is a Tomlin coached team and his assistant coaches cannot fix problems in season. I'm just saying let the guy make a name for himself during the season.
 
Canaduh/Tomlin will have to allow our QB to throw the ball downfield for us to find out anything about this O. So far, they are showing teams to stack the box because we live in our fears and won't attempt any deep passes.

Tomlin knows there are several ways to win the X's and O's game horizontally , vertically, diagonally, laterally, literally ...... and obviously

Rookie wideouts used to be a total waste their first year as they learned the more complicated route trees and adjustments in the NFL… it’s gotten better the past decade and a half or so, as college systems got more complex… but still even the best rookie wrs are usually operating on limited routes.. I would be more worried if he wasn’t making an impact later this year than in the first two games
 
The Steelers used to use guys like Pickens to make big plays. Find what they do well and exploit defenses with it. They can't even use Pickens for what he does best because they rarely throw past 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Just wasting the playmakers on offense for the sake of not making mistakes. They won't score any points either.
