Sims played well for us as a returner and even WR this year. We definitely need to replace him.

He signed for 1.7 million… we could have cut the less effective Gunner and basically paid for his contract… this may be a sign they want to keep Gunner for some absurd reason… the heir to Ryan Switzer’s legacy I guess…

so as of now I would give return duties to Austun and maybe PR as well or I would consider Ronnie Bell who from the combine and pro day has from an rnd 6 to rnd 4, great hands blocking, blocking and sure hands 4.5 speed but plays faster kinda like Ward, the 80 yd td in 04 vs the pats and the 1 shoe td vs the falcons, this kid will find ways to get open.
Bell did return punts for UM and is shifty. I see him as a perfect 3-4 to rotate with Austin in the middle, as of now you have Austin Muth and Heward as the slot guys
