Yeppers, Bungles may lose their rental agreement on the stadium. Lease is due to expire swoon and in July they broke off negotiation talks all together.

Negotiation talks have resumed recently and are hoping to iron out a deal.

Some of the fans want them to be moved to Columbus.

Next thing you know, they will want TAX-PAYER money to build a new stadium............................... ****-that, let them wallow in misery.

Crap article, but slow news day here.

Fools! without the sweet tears of Bengal Fans to appease it, the Escaloser will rise up and level the city....

But then again, its only Cinci... nobody is gonna miss Porkopolis... its an unholy amalgamation of Ohio and Kentucky... not exactly a city that matters... 🤣🤣🤣

The clowns if I remember correctly have something going on too. I think the City is suing them?

The Cleveland Browns want to build a new stadium about 20 miles outside of the city. Who cares, they still suck even if they build it on Mars.
Don’t know what’s going on with the Bengals. Everyone wants a new stadium. Don’t worry, our turns coming you wait.

Acrisure is coming up to 25 years old. How long before the hostage note hits Pittsburgh and what will the community have to say this time?

Hard to believe Acrisure/Heinz will soon by as old as Three Rivers was. Time flies.

Any sort of public financing for a new stadium will be a tough sell. The vote for the last one failed the first time in the late 1990s.

You’re correct Punxy! In light of how mediocre this franchise has become and with the bar being reset so low now, funding will be difficult.

Since it's the Stains, they should build the stadium on Uranus.

Absolutely no new taxpayer money should ever go to a new stadium... it absolutely does not add more money to an area than it costs... the nfl exaggerates its own importance and fails to account for the added costs a franchise brings as well as the events an area can have to offset tge loss of a franchise.

I love the steelers... but I can love them playing in pittsburgh or as the Tulsa Tornados... **** ever spending more money on that or any team... hell declare eminent domain on the team for social mental benefits... The Browns are enacting a clause in their contract to force the team to sell to the city if they try to leave... and while not the same, pittsburgh has used eminent domain for all sorts of nefarious reasons with less reasons than that and gotten the courts to hold it up...

On top of that teams sell false promises. Cleveland (or Pittsburgh) isn't getting a Super Bowl or Final Four with a new stadium. If by some miracle they did, it would be a one-time deal. They aren't getting year-round concerts. They aren't attracting other major events. The only perk is for the team so they can build out around the same--which would be some lame suburban style development--and more luxury seating which does absolutely nothing for the average fan.

As a fan, give me a downtown stadium 10 out of 10 times to experience the city if I'm going to a game. Places like Pittsburgh and Detroit are cool in that aspect.

They could look at a professional football team, haven't had one in town yet.
Clown the Bengals all ya want, but sadly they are one of MANY teams closer to a SB than the Steelers. At least they have a QB and the recent playoff success that comes with.

5-2 since 2021 where the Steelers still sport a big fat 0 in that win column.

So since they aren’t professionals what the hell are the Steelers?

Rooney’s brother put out an interview about the money side of the team. He states very assured that the STEELERS are 1st when it comes to “Ahead of the Means”. (Note: The Ravens are second, makes sense as they and us nearly mirror each other so close that records can be inter-mixed and team costs are near)

Translated in general topic and leyman’s terms……….. That tells us they are getting more money by staying at the current levels of win, then what the cost of the NFL and Super Bowl win would cost the bottom line of the team. They have been able to milk out the most $$$$coin$$$$ by spending the least, but maintaining the level of wins, to keep the customer spending.

I don’t see the STEELERS leaving PITTSBURGH ever (never say never) due to the fact of the HUGE world-wide fan-base. To move the team would be too big of a risk to the $$$moneyMOmoney$$$$ bottom line of the franchise.

The more soon thing, would be another major upgrade to the existing stadium.

Many here have acknowledged Art 2 as a lawyer / business man over being a football man. Well here it is in black and white that shows proof, your are the money that is provided by not caring of the fan side of the team. In Art 2’s defense, all the NFL Franchises are money based income, not fan based pleasers. Art 2 just happen as to be one of the best at it.
