...being a sensible 3rd round pick?

(drops bomb, goes to bed).

I dunno, but he posted a bad *** pic on Instagram. Need me one of these shirts.

Yes! Finally! An Archer thread to replace the 181 page thread that was foolishly locked. He may be the LVP on the team but I'm ok with him.

Heck I was happy Archer had 2 plays tonight that actually produced positive yardage!

If Archers sole contribution all season is to ensure that Antonio Brown's sock are on properly for the SB, I am ok with that.

Obviously at all of 160 lbs. he's not the guy you want A) picking up blitzing linebackers or B) running between the tackles. But that was common knowledge already.

In other news, the Steelers won the AFC North.

Eh, he did what was asked of him tonight, I hope he becomes more of a weapon, but time will tell. We have another shitbag scrub bust who was drafted in the first round to play outside linebacker, he sucked so bad they moved him inside. I read for years how he would NEVER, and I repeat NEVER be a pro bowl player. Guess where he's going this year?

Time will tell what mr Archer can and can't do, he hasn't show much this year, but he hasn't been out there much either.

He did have a nice gain of about 18 yards on a pass play, and did look fast. He does not seem like a great value at the pick but neither does Shazier or Jones. On the other hand Tuitt is looking like a good choice as is Bryant, the rest of the draft seems like they are yet to be determined but do seem to show potential.

Pro bowl means what exactly ?

Archer belongs in Cleveland playing with Manziel.
I do like the shirts though.

Pretty sure most here were dumbfounded by that pick. Nothing to be put to rest.

I would rather Harris stay in and Archer on the bench,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

As with everyone else, I will reserve judgement for 2-3 years before I write him off completely. He definitely looks to have a very limited role though moving forward based on his size and skill set.

Wow, you can tell all that about Shazier after his rookie year? Well, I'll jump on that bandwagon with you ... Shazier sucks! (notwithstanding his 6 tackles and 1 tackle for loss tonight, which was about equal to the combined totals of the guys he split time with).

I don't give a **** what it means, there were SEVERAL here that said he would never go to one. So, I'm stating he did. I'd also go on to state he's a very goddamn good ILB.

**** you and your probowl means what, I never said it meant anything other than he went and others said he wouldn't. (and I never said he would, but I figured the guy was fast as a ******* deer, and fairly instinctive, so with Dick Lebeau teaching him, he might just turn out. I know, I'm just a dumb **** who thought we might make the playoffs this year too, what the **** do I know).

Oh, at the ACTUAL RB position? Yeah, I agree, but that's not what he was drafted for. Now this year they haven't really used him much in that "slash" role they talked about, we'll see if it ever happens.

Joe

I'm not impressed. Just one scrub's opinion.

You don't draft Archer to have him run run of the mill plays. They have not been particularly creative with him, then again, he hasn't shown much when he's had the opportunity.

Did not say he sucks, just said he has not been a great value to the team this year and neither has jones. In shaziers defense he was injured and missed lots of time but that does not add to his value to the team. Also the guys he split time with were not first round picks either. Tuitt on the other hand seems to have developed more quickly and has definitely been able to replace another player and be an upgrade. So do you think that Shazier does not show potential and that we have yet to see what he brings or do you think his 6 tackles are going to be his high point.
