I am considering going to the Steelers at Panthers game in December. I have not been to a game in about 25 years so I was hoping to get some insight on best places to get tickets. Online vendors like Ticket Master and Stub Hub? Facebook groups? Outside the stadium? Some other way?

Obviously I don’t want to spend a lot on two teams that have a total of 2 wins between them so any advice will be great. I am about 4 hours from Charlotte so I am a little leery of driving there with out tickets.

The cheapest way that I found to get tickets was to buy them off ebay right before the game. Sounds crazy, but it works. I have literally bought tickets to every stadium in the league that way. (27 of the 31)
People get desperate and just accept wtfever they can get for them.
 
I’ll be at the game as well. It’s too close to me for me not to go. And Charlotte is a cool area with really good food.

thinking about doing some tailgating.

Nice. What area will you be coming from? I will be coming from the Wilmington area. My daughter really wants to go and we will probably leave early to do a little tailgating. Have you been to games here before? Any advice on good sections to sit in? I have only been to concerts there and was on the floor. Thanks

Interesting. I never thought of using eBay. Have you ever had any issues with the tickets?
 
Two **** teams + December weather = great deals from scalpers on the premises. But check eBay first.

No. Never. At all.
Most of the tickets I bought were from season ticket holders. The league has it figured out, most of them could transfer them electronically via the NFL ticketholder app.
That being said, I never bought from anyone with ANY questionable feedback.

We are driving up from Monkey Junction area. We usually watch games at BWW’s on college road too.

I don’t know if you are still going, but we are tailgating at 1520 S Tryon St. It is a “Fans of Alex Highsmith” tailgate. I am sure you know that Alex is from Wilmington and played college in Charlotte. All are welcome and you do not have to have a parking spot to participate.

Thanks, the family and I might stop by, we live in NC, staying downtown tonight, the city is predictably filled with Black and Gold.

Gotta give it up to Steelers Nation showing out when the playoffs are out the window, it should never be taken for granted!

speaking of wings.. Have any of you looked at the price of them lateley?? I was in walmart today ,, a 3 lb bag of frozen wings cost 17.99
Thats 6 bucks a lb., if youre bad at math.
 
My game day nachos used to be 2lbs ground burger $6, bag of tostitos $3, pace picanti hot $2, 1lb colby jack $3. Under $15 after tax. Now ground burger is $5 a pound, $4.50 for chips, $3 for salsa, and $5 for the cheese.
