Drew Brees completes %50 of his passes for 1TD 1INT, and a 69 QB rating.
Andrew Luck %45 completion 2TD's 2INTs and a 59 rating
Manning 0TD's, 2INTs, and a 56 qb rating.

But Ben sucks and isn't elite...haha. He and Bradshaw are the best this team has ever had at the position by far. They both had faults, but who doesn't?

There is no room for any more qb bad games. Ben has had his fill this season. We need consistent qb play the rest of the way..

I'm not disagreeing with that at all, but my point is all qb's have bad games and dont put up 118 rating games, hell Luck and Manning still won with those stats.

I mentioned this in the Game Day thread today. All good QBs have bad days. Ben will have more of them, Luck will have them, both Mannings will, etc. The D get paid, too and want to stop disrupt the QB's game. There has to be more focus on playing the better ones around the league. Luck still pulled out his ****** game today, on the road and against a pretty good, up and coming defense.

Ben gets torn apart when he has the type of games that those three had today. Oddly quiet how the experts were on Twitter today when Luck was looking like hot garbage until the end of the game.

Where would we be if we did not have Ben. Give him time and make the catches all is well. As much as we all want it we have never been a team that makes play after play but usually have to fight for everything. Our defense again today makes the offense be under pressure of scoring and making long drives since our field position is always bad. Lets talk about Taylor if we want to point at a bad player.

Wait. Everybody has acknowledged that this team goes as Ben goes. That is a lot of responsibility, sure. But that is why there is frustration when he plays poorly.

he underthrew Bryant.
hell, Gradkowski could have thrown that.

Yeah, but arguably the best qb in the history, Manning has had two poor games in a row, and they still won, not even the best regular season qb ever is expected to carry his team every week.

Ben only threw it 55 yards in the air. Any other elite QB would have thrown it 75 yards. Also, Bryant was soooo open, Kordell could have made that throw.

You do realize how ******* batshit crazy that sounds, right? Our defense is getting beaten like a rented mule all ******* year, and we start jumping all over the qb when we can't pull one out due to a bad game. I mean, that's like ******* abusive relationship ******** behavior right there.

The Broncos were up by three touchdowns in that game. Manning threw exactly two passes in the fourth quarter while Denver chose to take the air out of the ball and coast to the win. He didn't need to carry his team at that point.

Luck had an off game, but still performed when it counted the most, in the same hostile environment where the Steelers lost 31-10 and Ben didn't quite have his best showing, either.

I see Luck's performance as the most impressive. Despite having a dogshit game, he comes back at the end and does what it takes to win. He's a special QB.

Yet two of the three still won this weekend. Why is it that our team goes as Ben goes, but other teams still win when their QBs have a bad day?

Because other teams don't have the defensive unit that we're trotting out onto the field right now.

how about Ben's ****** deep ball to Bryant....

It was in the air only for 60 yards, and went down as a mere 94-yard TD. Gradkowski would have taken the game to Canada, and thrown a 104-yard TD pass.

Because we used all the win with Ben's terrible game mojo up for a Lombardi in 05'

I "was" the 2 time defending Fantasy Football champion. I just lost this week because of Manning. Uggghhhh!!!

Cost me a lot of dough!

Ahh...so Manning choked again in a big game.

Yea, I know. Look, I am not saying it's fair. But you have to admit, all the talk from the beginning of the year was how Ben was going to have to carry this team to victories. When that is continually repeated, people are going to buy into it, and when he doesn't play up to par, there is frustration.

It's not logical, but how much of being a football fan is logical when it is all said and done.

Also, I think there is a vast difference between people who think Ben sucks and those who would not pay him $25 million a year, if that is what he demands. I have been in the latter camp. You feel better after yesterday, but who knows with this team. I know they have some offensive talent, but with that defense, it could be a good while before they contend for real again. So, it's like if you get a beautiful painting from a famous artist. Ben is the painting. But instead of making a nice place in the house for it, you hang it in the garage. The Steelers too much have been the garage.

For the sake of accuracy, Ben threw the ball from the goal line to midfield. That would be 50 yards.
