So Ronda Lousey is coming back.

Hopefully she does. She was overhyped last year and got exposed. Womens mma is always up for grabs. I think Holly could've been a gem for the sport, but the spotlight got to her
 
KTFO!!! AGAIN!!! Nunes beat her in 48 seconds. Rousey is done. Period.
 
I think she is definitely done. Rousey looks like a broken woman. No heart, no confidence and she looked shell shocked out there. Her only shot would be to switch gyms where she is at now is not going to cut it.
 
The fight against Holm was bad. She got her *** handed to her tonight. What she did to the cans Dana put in front of her to build that hype, she got done to her tonight. That was a quick, violent *** whipping. Couldn't have happened to a better woman.
 
Ronda is done. Her punching skills lacked and it showed again. Nunes destroyed her. She got like 6 good punches on the face before the final KO

Overhyped. Trash talked during her undefeated mark, looked down upon the competition but the sport seriously evolved and passed her by
 
I would rather have my women not look like men. Rousey is tough but doesn't look like a man. CYborg,, and Nunes.. They look like dudes. They need to police that sport like cycling has done for the last few years.

She is done. 2 beatings a year apart. Time for RR to move on - make movies - maybe 'Expendables 4'?
 
Time to fire her coaches. Over a year and that's what she has learned? Going toe to toe is just dumb for her. Her strength is on the ground. Stupid gameplan on her last two fights. She will not be a great standup fighter. So her focus should have been movement,defense and taking her opponent down. You don't bang with chicks like that. I personally think she just wanted out. ******* 3 million bucks to get punched for less than a minute. Easy money. Hell I'd do that any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

She's a millionaire who has accomplished a lot for females in mma. I'd walk away and do movies.
 
EDIT: New Year, don't feel like fighting. I will just let people live with their own butt hurt.

My butt is fine. Just a perspective overview from a coaching standpoint . I never understood the hate. They took a page from wwe for hype and created interest good and bad. Sold very well. It's working well for McGregor just the same. Eventually they all lose.It's entertainment.
 
Obviously rousey has some emotional problems. However i do not blame her or hate her. The media created a monster and rousey got complacent. In the holm fight she was clearly out of shape and got destroyed both emotionally and physically. She looked in shape this time, but she was not emotionally there. If Rousey continues fighting she clearly needs a new camp. I do not think the game has passed rousey by yet, she just needs to adjust her psyche.
As for looks there are much prettier and likable women in MMA. She is pretty beastly if you look at her shoulders/arms/legs. She is not a troll by any means, but i do not think her looks factored into creating the hype

Huh?I see another poster said that. It's all good. Just an outside looking in for someone who could do better with her than the idiots running her training. For me the only conclusion was that she wanted out of the fight business and wanted to prove she could stand and bang with better skilled strikers. There's no logical reason to do this. Not when you've trained most of your life to throw people on the ground and submit them. Just like if you're naturally a great strength and power athlete. You will never be a champion marathon runner no matter how hard you try.
 
Rousey is not a puncher. She's wrestler. It was dumb for her to stand so long against Holm, and Holm, the superior tactical puncher, picked her apart. This last match the other girl was the stronger puncher, and had way more power than Holm. For the life of me, I don't know why Rousey feels she has to stand and fight with superior fighters. This isn't boxing. Lunge and get them on the ground where you excel.

Poor strategy, poor coaching, and shame on Rousey for thinking she can stand toe to toe in an octagon vs superior punchers.
 
Most of them let their ego's get in the way, and want to prove people wrong.

Rousey was this. She really should've stayed with her ground game. Regardless, she did do a lot for the sport and set a bar for young girls to try their hand at combat sports. She was a main stay and with Reebok and Monster energy endorsing her, she got her name and piqued interest out there
