I don't like that the NFL gave positional flexibility on numbers. Not a great look to see No. 8 lined up on the edge. Also, 93 is a weird number for an ILB.

Yes..... it’s not like I confused him with Tommy Maddox or anything. But #8 is just weird out there on edge.

Kind of off the subject, but watching UCLA/LSU, Carnell Lake’s kid wearing #37 at safety for The Bruins! Very cool! His bio stated his favorite player… Rod Woodson!

…and UCLA with the upset?

Thanks slash, with as many new faces as we've got I'm going to have to print out a numbered roster to learn the number vs the name................ !!!!

Always my biggest weakness, numbers. When I was in Germany before converting to English I rattled off German numbers and still can. But when remembering American numbers it takes me a long time to remember them. I have to write down passwords if new. Uniform numbers I remember few and seldom. At Steelers training camp I will remember faces but throw a number at me and I will have to look at the roster handed out. Some exceptions sure. But obviously for me not the norm in remembering who is wearing what..

I'd rather have 93 at linebacker when I'm used to seeing 95 and 99 there. The single digits at LB throw me off.

As long as he has at least 8 sacks I'm good with it.
