Somehow, Al Jazeera had access to this video

The batteries can be unstable. They can also be used as a bomb.

Some highlights about this:
1. The Truck was filled with gas and had a detonator

2. One is dead and 7 are injured

3. The Structural integrity of the cybertruck's frame prevented the bast damaging the building any more than the superficial stuff

4. The current massive hostage incident in Vegas may be tied to it

5. Both this truck as well as the one used in the other terrorist attack today were both rented through the same rental service, but the FBI is saying its coincidental and they aren't related

It's what you call sticking a bunch of big fireworks in a truck and lighting a fuse. The large ones can go off at around 500+mph.

Based on recent history, point 5 above means that they are definitively related events.

The FBI specifically said the New Orleans stuff wasn't a terrorist event, despite having recovered IEDs on the truck and knowing about other collaborators

Basically the FBI's word is as valuable as a **** covered wooden nickel

With a ISIS flag hanging off a pole on the back of the truck too don't forget. I think they even found one inside....

all I can find on the hostage situation is a guy barricaded on a bus; this makes it seem like one person.

Is there a better report?

Lets play devil's advocate here...

We are 20 days from Trump... a guy who literally is threatening to dismantle or overhaul the 3 letter agencies...

One of two things happened here...
A. during a heightened threat time of the year, two terrorist activities were utterly missed by the NSA intelligence gathering.
One of these somehow found the one entrance to a walkway that didnt have proper barricades set up, but then the officials immediately caught all the accomplices setting IEDs across the city before they could be set off.
And in vegas, the damage was limited because the truck they used diverted the blast from the building...

Or
B. The Three letter agencies let these morons ho through with this, catching them after minimal deaths to make it harder for the next administration to handicap them.

Look, in the 90's, the FBI let oklahoma city happen trying to stave off budget cuts and get the earlier version of the Patriot act passed...

I really find it suspect that these events get caught so easily until it is politically advantageous to the 3 letter agencies agendas

The conspiracy theories I tend to believe rarely support false flag events... but there is tons of evidence of the government turning blind eyes to things for political gain... even going back to the sinking of the Lusitania or pearl harbor...

They know something is going to happen but then let it go to get what they want... though some have had worse results than anticipated...

TURO is like airbnb for cars. I've rented a car off there before. Basically, anyone can put a car on there and rent it out. It can either be their own personal car or they can even buy a car to rent it out as a business endeavor. Guy I worked with bought a Corvette and put it on there for rent at $150/day. He'd basically pay the monthly note with a week of rental.
