I wonder what it could be? We know it won’t have anything to do with the offensive coordinator position-perhaps they could be announcing the winner of the golden ticket? The 2026 draft held here? Throw back uniforms? Going back to block numbering full time? Sarcastic answers only…

They will be releasing hell in the lab obviously. No test tube left unturned, varsity performances will be microscoped , junior varsity performances will be talked about without painting with a broad brush.

They will walk out onto the field and point to blades of grass, with putting emphasis on defending each and every blade.

It also will be announced that Canada will stay on the field until end of season will he will transition to being off the premises.


A new Tomlin buddy will be announced as OC, good times a coming...
 
Shades and Duh getting contract extensions.

Probably the next jersey retirement or next year’s hall of honor inductees.

I'd love to see announcements that Hines Ward and Ben Roethlisbeger have signed as mentors/advisors on O and that Bryant McFadden and Brett Keisel will do same on D.

To help out the great coordinators, lol.
 
A scrub from the practice team will be cut and a washed up long snapper will be signed to the practice squad in his place.

Actually, this might really be the announcement, and I may have missed the sarcasm.

I'm hoping it is the team announcing that this will be Tomlin's last season.

Good one. LOL, it could be an announcement that we are in contention for a draft or Super Bowl event, something like that. I doubt that they would preface any kind of firing move with such a goofy image to precede it. They usually deny they even let someone go (see Arian's fake retirement accouchement.)
 
We'll be wearing the throwback unis this weekend.
 
Guessing with the tease of "Woody" they will be honoring Woody Widenhofer in some way?

Damn---and I thought that was a "Big Boy" peek and they were going to announce a Eat-N-Park concession in the stadium?!

Did Pittsburgh do a big event like the NFL experience the last few years? I was in Green Bay about 5 years ago and they had this huge free event and I found out later the NFL requires cities to prove they have the infrastructure to host the NFL draft. It was really cool. I went to the ATM to get a few hundred bucks and ended up spending nothing and had a bunch of free swag. The kids got to run the 40, and do a passing competition and run routes and catch a football. They all had a blast. I am probably going to take the fam back there in 2025 for the draft.

It's not the original "woody" but a ****** up cheap knock off toy sold in Japan.
