Stallworth helps Swan, who suffers from Parkinson's

Last edited:
I was always a def. Guy even as a kid.
But 82 and 88 sure made the 70s exciting

I love the fact the selflessness of this whole situation.

Sad to hear about Swann, prayers his way.

side Note: I always wanted to be the kid that Mean Joe tossed his Jersey to…….

Good man John Stallworth! Looking out for his teammate making sure he has what he needs. John is one of the minority owners of the Steelers so he has money, that’s for sure so that jersey other than sentimental value to him, is being put to better use to help a friend.
Man those two brought me a lot of happiness and excitement back in the 70’s.
I remember the day Swanny was drafted out of USC in 1974 as it was no big deal and heard about it on the radio. They didn’t have this wall to wall draft coverage with these so called experts. It was no big deal back then. Jack Lambert was taken in the second round that draft. The skinny kid from Kent State in Ohio.
Swanny took some viscous hits to the head back in the day especially from the Raiders when players were not protected. Now, a good wind hits them and they’re out for the season.
Strong work John Stallworth! You’re a good man and friend to Lynn.

i would have beaten your *** to a pulp for that jersey

"That number is especially remarkable because the same jersey was previously sold for $720,000 just a few years earlier, meaning its value has more than doubled." How can you sell a jersey that's already been sold?

Swann had his share of concussions it's interesting to think back I don't recall Stallworth taking many big shots.
