I’m not really, in the off season it seemed he was instrumental in getting the QBs and the other skill position players together in the offense together. When I was at Latrobe- he was involved with the other QBs (especially Pickett) in the drills and the plays. He seems to have command and respect of the whole locker room

I think it speaks to his leadership, but a bit odd the offense has a non-franchise QB who was just signed this offseason and a second-year RB as captains. Overall it speaks to the youth and lack of leadership on the offensive side of the ball (no knock on Mitch or Najee).

Makes sense to name Mitch a captain. He’s the QB1 and has demonstrated leadership skills and has a veteran presence. I wouldn’t make much out of it. Logical choice imo.

I would think someone like DJ who hs played for the team for Several years would make a good choice. Mitch hopefully plays up to the title

If they were trying to hide Mitch starting, I the Bungles should easily be able to figure it out now.
