The Pittsburgh Steelers entered into a new era on offense when they hired Arthur Smith to be their offensive coordinator. The hope was that Smith could bring much-needed change to a unit that had been underwhelming for years. In his first season running the show in 2024, there were flashes of improvement, but overall, the offense remained inconsistent and struggled to find its true identity. That has placed extra pressure on Smith heading into the 2025 campaign, where the expectations are much higher. With 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers leading the way at quarterback and an offense stacked with weapons that includes DK Metcalf, Calvin Austin III, and three reliable tight ends, Smith has more tools than ever to build the type of physical, efficient attack he was brought in to create.
