Steelers bolster off field talent

Excited Steelers brought in both Ike Taylor and Merril Hoge to their draft/scout team. Both have a keen eye for talent and Merril breaks down film like nobody's business.

This is a huge “help” to the scouting department.

I know we need help in talent evaluation and anything that is positive will help. Hodge has proven himself in his film break-down experience.

Ike, needs to prove himself other than being from the university of “swag”. I hope he is legitimate in his talent evALUATION and can be a positive factor on the scouting Team.

As long as Ike isn’t asked to catch any INT’s with those block hands and we’re good.
He was an excellent CB, but just couldn’t catch a cold. I think he will make a difference, eventually, when he has enough experience that they take him serious.

I can’t believe That Hoge would move away from TV. If he truly wants to get into mgmt, he could be a very good GM one day.

I hear yayz Scott, but IKE did perform his job extremely well. He constantly asked to defend the opposition’s BEST receiver and on an island as well. He revelled in it an did a fantastic job.

Yes the interception ability could definately be better but I’d still take IKE in a heartbeat over anybody currently rostered.

Maybe this is his “GottA start somewhere” idea to moving up the ladder.?
