I gotta say I'm not surprised that Loudermilk is Inactive....didn't really see him show much in the Pre-season. Kendrick Green inactive too...Robinson also.

Steelers Inactives
No. 2 QB Mason Rudolph
No. 53 C 53 Kendrick Green
No. 82 WR Steven Sims
No. 92 DE Isaiahh Loudermilk
No. 93 LB Mark Robinson
Bengals Inactives
No. 32 RB Trayveon Williams
No. 70 OL D'Ante Smith
No. 74 OL Max Scharping
No. 86 TE Devin Asiasi
No. 97 DT Jay Tufele

Loudermilk did fine in the preseason… they just are stacked at the position… leal is going to be a beast… Wormley is the top experienced backup and Adams is insurance in case Alualu goes down

Someone tell me why we kept K Green.

Leal, the rookie, ahead of Loudermilk who most said looked very good in the preseason. That one is a bit of a surprise to me.

again, a bunch of the predraft sites had Leal as a solid first rounder... Athlon had him as the top rated DE. He has mad skills

Loudermilk was one of the better run defenders last season. I know Wormley isn't good in that area and Leal is a work in progress. Encouraging the rookie is earning a hat for his first game.

I watched all 3 Pre-season games and IMO I really saw nothing from Loudermilk to warrant a helmet on Gameday. Leal looked more explosive, more disruptive and quicker than Loudermilk. I'm surprised he even made the roster with our depth on the D-line.

Leal must have really impressed. A good problem to have.
