The Pittsburgh Steelers came into the 2025 season with very high expectations for their defense. While there were many question marks surrounding the offense, no one expected the defense to be holding the team back. Instead, it has struggled mightily, ranking among the worst units in the NFL by nearly every key metric. It has been a brutal start for Pittsburgh’s defense, yet the team sits at 4-3 and still holds first place in the AFC North.
