I like to see them continue to fortify. I noticed a few scouts wasn't retained for whatever reason. So glad they are adding experience to the room.

I hear what you are saying slash, but I also wish they would invest a little more in coachmanship.

Specialized assistant coaches but also HIGHER end. Muncheck would be a great example.

Nice find and thanks for posting!

Well they did bring in a former HC on D. I was hoping they would do the same on O. They could use the help there...

Wonder if he is related to Troy Sadowski who played TE for PIT in the late 90’s.

Is the NFL front office staffs that small a community? Does anyone think Chicago Bears when talking about strong draft history the last 17 years? This guy was director of College Scouting for the Bears for the last 17 years and now coming to the Steelers due to his ties with Khan???? Talk about failing up. Slashsteel you may call it "experience" but below average experience will drive below average results IMO. I would rather take risk on a younger hungry scout than a 20 year history of nothing.

Some thought the same way when Colbert came from Detroit. That pendulum can swing either way. If he was a GM or even an assistant GM I might be more concerned. But I look at the hire as being a small piece that was added. While we are on the subject I like the assistant GM hire. I think he will show to be a solid pickup.

I am not sure about alot of things. But 1 thing I do know, Jesse James caught that ball!

Yet some question my disdane for the cheatriots and all the ******-g QUESTIONABLE calls that seem to go their way................................

JJ did catch and score on the field and not just the movie star mother of the blindside.

Not sure how yinz feel....but I am very encouraged by the Steeler organizational moves (on and off field) and their very un-Steeler like participation in free agency this off season.

It tells me they do realize that we have slide down the NFL food chain a bit lately and we need to eat better .. :)

The week after the game, I was talking to a 30 something woman at the pharmacy counter, discussing the medication that she just picked up.
I noticed that she was wearing a Steeler jersey, so after I was done counseling her and asking if she had any questions, I casually asked her if it was a catch.

Fire flew from her eyes as she yelled out "Damn right it was a catch!" The entire clinic heard her, nurses came running from the back of the building to make sure there
wasn't an emergency they needed to deal with.

As far as the guy from the Bears, wait and see is the best approach, and at least they're doing something.
