I will take an ugly win any Sunday. The D deserves many props considering they had an inept offense putting them in bad situations.

Not perfect as the run D needs some work overall. Regardless they earned some praise for that hard earned W!

Good individual efforts tonight by TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith, Larry Ogunjobi, Montravious Adams and several other players on that Defense....Saw Joey Jr make a couple nice plays out there too.....got away with a hold on that final play but it's only a penalty if the refs see it.

Not sure how good they are, but last night they were good enough. Good enough to keep the Steelers in games against a decent amount of teams. The O obviously can't make that claim. When healthy I think they are a top 10 defense.

Funny thing but when the offense goes 3 and out multiple times in a row it kinda stresses a defense

Think they put in a better effort with less usuage, but they were also our most effective offense in terms of scoring so maybe Tomlin is just a genius and told Matt “more 3 and outs to up the scoring…we need that D out here”

The ol injury angle perhaps the Steelers run D would be more sound with Cam and the WRs with DJ on the field. Steelers can play that game too.

They definitely got the splash plays we needed this weekend. The concerning part is the run D has been horrible with or without Cam. Hopefully, Fehoko, a true run-stopping NT can help now that he is on the 53-man roster but my guess is he will be inactive and Jacobs or whoever is running collectively for the Raiders will put up another 150-200 yards on us this weekend. This will not work moving forward. The D has to figure this out.
