For me there was only two tackles I thought was worthy of a trade up, with the depth in the draft at corner I didn't feel the same way at any other position.

Broderick brings a run blocking strength combined with athleticism and willpower. For how much I liked Paris' pass blocking ability, I thought Jones was the better prospect when it came to run blocking.

I am not sure he will start out of the gates, but I am pretty confident when he does start (I am guessing sometime within the season) that he will be an upgrade in both areas of what you want in a LT.

After the first three games…you’ll forget all about Dan Moore Jr.

Over 400 plus snaps and ZERO sacks! And that is in the greatest conference in college football, the SEC. I absolutely love the pick and think Andy and Omar made a great move to step in front of the J-E-T-S. to pick this young man.
I'm liking this duo of Andy and Omar! Good off season and first round of draft. Excited for day two.

ESPN already has Jones as the Steelers' starting left tackle on the depth chart. And so do I.

If you are correct then it is a win for the offense.

I’ll take it a step further, I think he starts day 1. I know Moore has the experience, but Jones is just to much and will overtake.

ESPN can’t be wrong,………. Not in this case anyways………….

I too, think he starts day one.

again 2 starters and 2 contributors day 1 great draft!!!

That’s the thing BLITZ, we addressed both sides of the trench as well.

I wanted a LT, was feared they’d go weapons. They ACTUALLY moved up to address the LT spot.

To this point, a VERY successful draft.!!!

We can count Washington into addressing the trenches as well. Some suggested he's good enough at blocking he could gain weight and play tackle.

Could be his future....especially if his bad knees and surgically repaired foot effect his speed and agility..

we owed the jets after they traded up to get revis... revenge is best served up by jumping over them, trading with their rival, and drafting jones who plays anywhere on the line at 315 runs 4.9 and has a nasty streak. he needs coached up but hell be here awhile. I hate picking o-lineman high up but he's a good one. gosteelers!
