On Sunday, the NFL broke out their Top 100 Players of 2021 list (voted by the players), starting with numbers 100-41. Both Pittsburgh Steelers defensive stars, DT Cam Heyward and S Minkah Fitzpatrick landed at #57 and #52 respectively.

#⃣9⃣7⃣ is #⃣5⃣7⃣ on the #NFLTop100

Heyward is a 2x First Team All-Pro, 1x Second Team All-Pro, a 4x Pro Bowler, and moved up 27 spots from last year, while Fitzpatrick is a 2x First Team All-Pro as well, and a 2x Pro Bowler.

Fitzpatrick was recently voted by ESPN through a coaches poll as the league’s “top safety,” so it’s surprising to see him almost 20 spots back from where he was just a season ago.

Just like how Fitzpatrick was vocal after his Madden NFL 22 ratings last month, he took to Twitter again Sunday night to voice his opinions about where he landed on the list this season. Doesn’t sound like he was too pleased:

I was tryna end my Sunday peacefully….smh

How do yinz think the list looks so far? Were both Fitzpatrick and Heyward ranked too low Too high? Do you think any other Steelers will crack the list? And whose been snubbed so far (if any)? Sound off in the comment section below!

As with most lists, this one is garbage. The players don't even see half of the players they are ranking, and have to rely on what the media tells them the others are doing. The Steelers played one out of four divisions in the NFC last year, and yet every single player in the NFC voted for/against these two players.

Fitzpatrick just doesn’t get the credit he’s due IMO. The second he took the field the defense became elite—he covers a lot of flaws in front of him.

In the grand scheme of things .......... lifting the lombardi is #1.

The lists / power ranking / AP poll just don't mean ****. It is nice to see our guys on these "lists" but beleive me these list(s) don't make them play any better..
