The Pittsburgh Steelers made a slew of moves on Tuesday afternoon. One of those was the elevation of tight end Kevin Rader from the practice squad to the active roster.
This move comes on the heels of Eric Ebron likely heading to injured reserve with a knee injury.
The Steelers also made moves on the practice squad. They released quarterback James Morgan, who was signed last week with Ben Roethlisberger on the COVID list.
They signed former Green Bay tight end Jace Sternberner, and guard Rashaad Coward, who was added in March from Chicago.
He was released prior to the start of the season before signing with the practice squad. He was then signed from the practice squad by Jacksonville before being released from them.
Coward gives them a familiar face that has experience with this offense. They’re dangerously thin at the offensive line position.

Steelers TE Eric Ebron is expected to miss extended time as he braces for potential knee surgery, per source. Ebron, who got injured Week 11, is waiting on a second opinion but a procedure is the likely approach as of now.
