I generally think RB but if Dobbins and Taylor are off the board and you have an attractive G or RT sitting there I think you have to go with that angle of the dangle.

or if Ruiz falls to rnd 2 he would be a perfect replacement for Pouncey long term meanwhile 2 years he can start at LG
 
If I were Coach, I'd say, "I knew we should pick a RB w/ our first pick weeks ago"; but I'm not him...

I remember looking a Zach Moss's tape last year - the kid runs like Zeke Elliott - not a bad option if he's there when we pick. I think we can wait on Runyan in the 4th too, unless his combine changes things...

Like both of those prospects a lot. With the position devalued somewhat one very well might be sitting there come pick 2.

If they have a high needs list

say RB,TE,WR.G.T you will see BPA out of that or a trade down or up. But we know say if a CB is BPA that will not be the pick.... trust me.

I've been a busy man lately but the Steelers would be fools rely on Conner. Sorry, Snell isn't ideal as a starter. I liked Clemson's back a lot, but he's staying in school. The Ohio State and Wisconsin backs would make fine Steelers. Not sure if either lasts until our 2nd round pick.

Our #2 or #3 pick should be used on a Running back. It depends OL, and TE are also huge needs. We really could use more draft picks. But since you like my I told you so's...Edumunds was a bad 1st round pick. We have an All Pro and a below average starter at Safety with near zero depth.

PS: Glad Colbert is back for another year, however this year he's going to need to hit on a later round pick or rookie free agent.
 
Well, since we have no 1st round pick, none of our picks can truly be considered busts. At least we have that going for us this year.
 
Edmunds was not a BPA pure need could of traded to round 2 and gotton a few extra picks, ryan could of came back the next to day to make the announcement. I liked Jessie Bates a lot more than Edmunds prior to the draft my main target foir SS was Ronnie Harrison. Edmunds has good speed but over pursues to much would like him to replace Barron as the MLB in the nickel or have Gilbert push him hard.
 
Everybody here wanted to do something else with the 1st pick instead of Edmunds, including me, so why keep beating that ******* dead horse over and over? To show you knew better? Yeah you are greater that Kevin Colbert and the rest of the scouting team and coaches, a shout out to you, now move on.

So since we have no first round pick would it not make sense if we can find a trading partner to trade the second round pick for a late second round pick and pick up a third rounder in addition? That gives us the late second and two thirds with the compensatory pick.
