Steelers have released Preston Smith

That’s good! Saves about 13 million towards the cap.
Should be a few more to go here. Can you say Larry O., Corderelle Patterson, Cole Holcomb. That will save more cap space. Now spend it wisely!
 
Cap waiver saves about 13 mil, he was 33 yrs old. Wasn’t used much and didn’t make noise.

Pretty sure Larry O. Will go soon. I hope the waived get waived so as if they can find new jobs, just not here.

I read somewhere that the reason Preston and Williams were not used much was because Tomlin didn't want them brought in. It was Omar's decision. Don't know how much of that is true. It would explain why they didn't get much playing time perhaps.
