Steelers Hire A New LB Coach

I remember someone was pimpimg him in the draft and the Seattle took him early.

1st time as a position coach to replace a ex HC. yep

Curry began his coaching career at the University of Charlotte where he was a graduate assistant in 2014 and defensive line coach from 2015 to 2018. His time there would have overlapped with both Larry Ogunjobi (2015 & 2016) and Alex Highsmith (2016-2019).

His impact is probably a bit overstated. I don't mind trying to find young, up-and-coming guys when talking about positional coaches. They have a veteran coaching the inside with Jerry O. and now a young guy with the OLBs. Experience both in college and the NFL is a plus, particularly under a very good head coach in Pete Carroll. I'd anticipate at least a couple of more coaching hires.
 
Could it possibly be, it is winter so the trees are yet dormant. Come spring there is a p[ossibility of a bud forming into a branch.

Time will tell and as any good gardener……… it’s a wait and see.

I think it’s a good hire and hell yess, let the man actually coach.
