As expected, Pittsburgh Steelers‘ starting offensive guards, Kevin Dotson and Trai Turner, did not practice on Wednesday. Wide receiver, Chase Claypool was limited.

Today’s Steelers injury report basically lines up with Mike Tomlin’s assessment yesterday.

DNP: Kevin Dotson, Joe Haden, Trai Turner, TJ Watt

Limited: Chase Claypool

Steelers defensive captain, Cam Heyward did not practice on Wednesday either (coach’s decision), as well as cornerback Joe Haden, and star linebacker, TJ Watt as expected. Here was head coach, Mike Tomlin‘s assessment on these players from Tuesday:

Per Coach Tomlin:

Ben Roethlisberger – needs to clear covid protocols – will have Mason ready to play
T.J. Watt – will always leave the light on for him
Trai Turner – confident he’ll show up
Kevin Dotson/Joe Haden – will have an opportunity
Chase Claypool – will work Wednesday

Hope we can get some of these players back. That and Covid did the team no favors.

OK, Steelers! How did Ben test on Tuesday and Wednesday? Did he get his 2 negatives or is he still testing? Did he get another positive? This should be part of the injury update. He could potentially practice today. They know the answers to his Tuesday and Wednesday tests already. Come on! Stop keeping us in suspense!

Thanks B-Wall for the INFO

I' pretty sure BEN's testing is confidential and is only assumed once there is physycal proof he is practicing. I haven't heard any team releasing test results but once player returns then there is the proof in the pudding, "so to speak".

Salute the nation

I guess if Ben doesn't practice today, he isn't going to be playing on Sunday. I would just run with Rudolph if he hasn't practiced.

Yeah, the news has been pretty stingy with the TJ and Ben updates... obviously the 2 most important bits of news this season!
We don't really give a **** about dumbass stories about Haskins and his phone, or what Tomlin thinks of Mason's performance.
