The Pittsburgh Steelers have released their injury report coming off the mini-bye they received after Thursday Night Football:

#Steelers vs. Titans Wednesday practice report:

DNP: Roethlisberger (pec/shoulder), Haden (foot), Adams (illness)

LIM: Spillane (knee), Highsmith (quad), Rader (hip), Watt (groin)

FULL: Davis (knee), Buggs (ankle)

— Missi Matthews (@missi_matthews) December 15, 2021

It’s encouraging to see TJ Watt, Alex Highsmith, Robert Spillane, Carlos Davis, and Isaiah Buggs participating. It’s no secret the defense has been struggling as of late, particularly the front seven. Having as many healthy players as you can there after the last few weeks is important as ever.

Not so encouraging, is the no participation in the case of Joe Haden. Haden has been battling a foot injury for about 4 weeks now, and the team has missed his presence mightily.

Tomorrow’s report may be more telling of what we will likely see for this weekend’s matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Hopefully Haden and the others that were limited can get back, as the team will look to get another win at home this Sunday at Heinz Field.

There was no news on Haden at all. I read yesterday he was dealing with a mid-foot sprain. He hasn't practiced for 4 weeks and now this is his 5th week. Holy ****! Why did they say he might play the week after the injury? Why not say it was a high ankle sprain (my guess since it is taking so long to heal)? Why not put him on IR? None of this Haden situation makes sense.

It's not Lisfrank but it could be damaged ligaments that are associated with that injury. He could also be making a business decision so it doesn't become that and require surgery. I mean Tuitt has missed the entire season and been a 8 million dollar cap hit and they have made nothing but vague comments about his knee.

I started to lean toward Haden shutting it down himself but that is a bad business decision. If he can go, he needs to. At his age, other teams are going to see him miss 5 games or more toward the end of the season. He will only get a vet minimum prove it deal. Since he only has maybe a couple years left, he may as well look to stay here.

I don't see Haden shutting it down intentionally he loves the game of football.

Somebody is lying to somebody. He is either lying about his injury or the Steelers are lying about it. If it was a high ankle sprain or something more serious than they originally led on, then they would have put him on IR. At least I think they can still do that this late in the season and still bring him back. You can pretty much bet he is missing his 5th game this week and he hasn't sniffed the practice field and there has been no update or leak from anyone about his injury.

I think he will get more than Vet min and will play slot corner. If he develops full lisfrank career is over

Haden and no one from the team has said anything about his injury, especially lisfrank. I finally saw one of the PG guys a couple of days ago say he has a mid-ankle sprain.

Haden finally a LP today. Buggs is back to a DNP and Banner is now a DNP.
