With so many sitting during the preseason, we are going to see a lot of guys make their debut today.
I am curious how the crowd is today... the Jets fans have a plan to Boo Rodgers... there may be 50% steelers fans... could get interesting

Herbig out slightly surprised they didn't bring up Leal instead of Peirre. But I guess Harrison can play outside as well.
Sawyer should get decent playing time.

With JJ doing the color, his comments will be interesting.
A very little tracked stat is how free agents in year two take leaps forward. Also coordinators in year two are running a ton of their actual system... year 1 is always a blend while in transition

Our Defense needs to be up to the task with fundamentally sound tackling. None of this "OLE" bullshit dive at the legs of the ball carrier tackling. Square up and take them down to the ground. Nothing fancy! They've spent $185 Million on this Defense!
I'm excited to see Roman Wilson....unlike George Pickens who can't get any seperation.....Wilson seems to have a knack for finding open spots in the secondary!

Pickens definitely got separation. He found himself separated in Dallas and looked like he was in midseason form with his personal foul the other night

To me the key is the OL. They just have to come together, stay healthy, and keep Mr.Rodgers clean if we want things to go well in the neighborhood.
Pay close attention to his blind side protection with Broderick Jones who has to be that guy for us.

I am more hyped for this season than I have been in 6 or 7 years. Probably because my youngest is a Senior in high school this year and I am on the verge of being en empty nester next year. Alot more time on my hands and a quiet house looming. Needing something to focus on lol.
No apple turnovers from Warren would be spectacular...

Aaron Glenn is an aggressive DC, lots of blitzes. I hope steelers have some screens and other blitz beaters ready.
Fields is still a RB who throws and doesn't read defesnes well. Stuff the run, keep fields in the pocket and read the field. Get some INTs
