As the Pittsburgh Steelers continue their annual training camp this offseason, fans have been able to see new names in new places. Since the book closed on the Steelers’ 2022 season, general manager Omar Khan has been busy in tapping into the free agency pool to revitalize almost every position on the depth chart. However, the current free agency pool is much different than it was a few years ago. With additional football leagues being born into American sports, NFL scouts have new ways to evaluate and recruit players looking for their chance at one of the largest professional sports leagues in the world.

All for sleepers to emerge. Will probably be a hard conqueror to make this roster with the depth on this team this year. However S,CB, RB, WR and C. There is some wiggle room.

In my mock along mocks I would have drafted Hakeem Butler #83 in 2019 and Kenny Robinson #135 in 2020. I am really excited to see what they both can do with their second chances on this team. So far nothing but accolades I have read on their performances. I saw the one pick of Robinson on Twitter and he did an exceptional job baiting a Veteran Signal caller like Rudolph into giving the pre-snap read of an open inside slant then immediately taking it away and jumping the route. And Butler had an over the shoulder catch from Trubisky that so far is the catch of the camp.

I always wish these type of players the best of luck as I’m defiantly an under-dog enthusiast and hope for his success.

Time will tell and crazier things have happened…………….

Kid has a good day it seems..
But he has about as much of a chance as making the final squad as I do...
He was a 5th rounder so some pedigree there. If Norwood isn't up to par I think he is the 4th Safety behind Minkah, kazee and neal.
Edit: forgot about Riley who has been serviceable when needed

We kept 5 safeties last year and imo Norwood, Killebrew, Neal and Robinson are all fighting for a spot. Norwood gives you more of a utility player. Killebrew is a special teams guy. Neal is a veteran. If Robinson can show some diversity in his ability to play maybe SS and dime defender and shows some special teams value I would say he could easily take Killebrew's spot. If Norwood is still in the Tomlin doghouse then maybe he can take his spot. It is an uphill battle and a long camp but if he keeps making splash plays I don't see why he couldn't leapfrog a few people on the depth chart.

any news on this guy after a few days of pads on?

One thing in the article I read this morning he is a **** talker held out of practices on his Spring league (XFL?) Team.
