I know, Mark Madden, but he's been correct with his sources so far. He said that several Steelers missed their curfew Saturday night in Miami and were out late at a strip club.

and?

oh ... **** Mark Madden.

and?

oh ... **** Mark Madden.

wouldn't shock me

party it up at South Beach / play like **** the next day

I mean I am not going to take stock out on it but I wouldn't be so quick to discount it as a possibility either.........

Never understood why that **** doesn't happen the night of the game. You want to play and stay after a win Monday is day off. Catch a flight at your own expense. No one goes out night before the game. No one.

might be why it isn't the night of the game........

It is one of the easiest explanations to come up with for that effort we saw. If it would be true, that is disappointing they lack the discipline to take care of business first.

If this is true it's on Tomlin. Madden has been right lately.

I don't necessarily buy into the theory that going out the night before could be the difference between a win and a loss. I don't want to be a cranky old guy telling young rich kids how to act.

But at the same time, is anyone surprised after what we saw?

Oh Bullshit. How long has it been since you've tried to do some extreme physical exercise when you're hung over as hell?

That is ******* unbelievable. If that's true, ****. What a waste of a game.

On one hand, I can somewhat agree. However, unless he were to go there and force them all out with a gun to their head, how exactly do you figure it's his responsibility. Now, it is his responsibility to take proper disciplinary action on those who didn't abide by their curfews. Let's be real though--shades was probably providing them with all the dolla billz.

They obviously went down there not giving a ****. That's what I am gathering, and they played like it. This week is all business though... right? Blah.

Completely unacceptable for athletes who are paid millions to be in peak condition for the games.

Seriously. You have 16-20 days out of 365 to be on your A game. ******* do it.

This was one of the games I wanted to hop on a plane and go see. You know, sun, sand, beach, bikinis,Steelers. Thank god I did not. If this IS true it had better come out. Think of all the Steelers faithful that spent big $$$$$ to see this game.

This team is just really hard to like. I've been a Steeler fan since the early 70s when I was a kid, and even in some tough years you could find something or some player to really like. This year is damn hard.

Tomlin continues to be out coached in games. How the hell can you like that?

The QB is a ****** idiot. In the week before the game he says they practice too hard. Then you have the team perform like that. Then Art Rooney comes out and says the QB will miss 2-3 weeks. But no, Ben just can't agree, he has to say 4-6 so when he comes back in 2-3, oh boy, he'll look tough. All that would be acceptable if he didn't play like 3rd string QB in about 4-5 games a year. I am flat out sick of this guy. I know, I know. We'd better appreciate him while we have him. OK. But they ain't winning anything anymore with Ben. It's over. It's gonna be like Favres later years.

The best WR in the game is becoming another pain in the *** prima donna.

The best RB and potentially one of the best WR in the game can't stay off the weed.

Mitchell is an idiot, too.

Everybody gets hurt. Some of these guys would get hurt at an Easter egg hunt.

I guess I really like only two players anymore, Heyward and DWill. You can get behind those guys. The rest is tough to be honest with you. I really think it is this bad, and anyone who has read my posts over the years knows I am a positive guy.

Everyone that went out partying should be benched for the next game, I don't care who he is

Everything falls to the head coach. A good coach would be leading, this punishment would be reacting. At times it feels like Tomlin is just NOT leading like a man, a head coach. If the players truly stayed out late and partied then our staff didn't do their job very well. It's week six and EVERY PLAYER on that team should be well aware of the consequences of their actions. Your right by benching said players, but that is after the fact. It had to be a risk reward thing to the players, obviously the risk wasn't high enough for what they felt was the reward (staying out late with out consequences). That factor should have been well made aware prior to the event happening.

Salute the nation

You mean "no one should" right? Because they definitely do. And, if true, more example of a team that is not run tight enough. Hoody, Tuna, Johnson don't allow for this. Period.
