It’s no surprise the Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t getting much love from the sportsbooks. After the Cleveland Browns signed Deshaun Watson late last week, the Steelers fell to the bottom of the projections and are currently +800 to just win the AFC North.
Not surprisingly the Browns are the offseason favorites to win the division, but with a looming suspension for Watson it’s highly unlikely they keep those current odds. Even worse than their odds to win the division are their odds to win the AFC. They are currently +3300 to win the AFC which gives them the fourth worst odds in the entire conference.
This offseason has been a refreshing success, so it is fairly surprising to see the sportsbooks be so down on a team that is always competitive. Since Mike Tomlin took over for the Steelers in 2007 they have never had a losing season. When the Steelers are counted out they generally respond well, and if you’re a believer you should jump on these odds right now.
Where do you see the Steelers finishing this year? Are you willing to bet on them to win the division? Sound off in the comments below!
