Cracks me up every time I see a writer refer to KP as a “franchise QB”

Don’t ya have to do in the league to earn that title or is it the new meaningless tag for a first round drafted QB?

He may develop to become one but way too damn early to call a guy who hasn’t even had a season with more TDs than picks yet.

I think if you listen to him talk, he will admit that he's not a franchise QB, yet. He is however QB1, and seems to have the Hines Ward mentality regarding hard work.

We'll all have a better idea after year 3, and I for one hope we aren't looking for the next franchise QB then.

I think YET is the operative word. Kenny has a lot of confidence, but he plays it very well.
