The Pittsburgh Steelers opened training camp on July 25th in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. A lot of fans' attention was set to be focused on the quarterback competition between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. However, Wilson has been dealing with a calf injury that he suffered pushing a sled during a conditioning workout on reporting day. Wilson's minor injury has kept him out of team reps and pushed Fields into more first-team reps than initially expected. Wilson has yet to practice with a helmet on through four days of training camp which has created a big opportunity for Fields to make his case for the team's starting quarterback job.
