Steelers Release Training Camp Depth Chart

This will be Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin‘s 15th training camp with the team. To this day, he still lives by the same depth chart motto that “no job is secure.” Year in and year out, every position on the field including offense, defense, and special teams are up for grabs for the player who works hardest for it. The 2021 NFL season will be no different as the Steelers have released their training camp opening depth chart.

There’s current only one rookie listed as starter, but I don’t think that’s a surprise to anyone.

Other notable names include J.C. Hassenauer at starting center, Alex Highsmith over Melvin Ingram III at right outside linebacker, and Antoine Brooks Jr. at the starting nickel position.

I would read nothing into that pecking order except the known starters.

The only thing I may take away from this initial depth chart is BJ Finney was brought in exclusively as a backup. I know some had him pegged in as a starter until Green is ready.

I thought it was interesting that Haskins at #3 and Dobbs at #4.
