Interesting. I thought he and Sullivan (just signed) would battle for the slot CB position. Hmmm...

Couldn't play ILB well enough....................................................

I'm guessing we will be signing another slot guy to compete since Sullivan certainly wasn't going to be a definite starter.

What contract dispute? He is under contract. I just don't get some of these players.

I hear yaz slash, entitlement and FO lets it slide.

Little chest was a master at stealing money. He made the STEELERS release him early and not fight for compensation back.

He did same thing to Raiders & Cheatriots. I thin k TB lost on the deal too.

I know Maulet wasn’t this drastic and isn’t stealing, but He is short-coming his signed word.

I always viewed Maulet as a poor man's Mike Hilton. Sullivan's 26 vs Maulet age 29, so maybe we're just trying to get younger in the Def backfield (Peterson notwithstanding).

With AB after the Steelers buyer beware. Even them when they gave him his big deal they should have quietly dealt him instead of giving him big cash.

Meh, i just did several roster mock ups…. I had him getting cut minus severe injury issues every single time… ok player… we are stacked at db right now… and that was all with that seventh round pick not making the team

I liked the guy, but he wasn't very good. I agree he was a long-shot to make the roster. With that said, best of luck getting a higher payday elsewhere.

I wish him good luck as he embarks on his life's work.

Why didn't they wait until June 1 to release him?

glad OK is shutting the Hilton experience just because they are the same size doesn't mean Maulet has the instincts or skill Hilton does.
Peterson Porter outside Wallace inside and your 4th CB is Pierre while your dime or dollar 6th CB/S is price or who ever they sign.

All that does is push his signing bonus To next year. Its small… get it off the books now…
its weak to accomodate a backup under contract

He tackles the run well...but can't cover the pass. Next.
