The Pittsburgh Steelers are desperate for help on the offensive side of the ball, specifically at wide receiver. They came up short during the 2024 offseason after pursuing wide receivers like Mike Williams and Tyler Boyd in free agency. Williams and Boyd ended up elsewhere, but Pittsburgh continued to try to bring in help. The organization signed Van Jefferson and Scotty Miller, and General Manager Omar Khan was fighting throughout training camp to land wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk from the San Francisco 49ers.
