About time for some good news, we could definitely use it.

Me too. As then you have to weigh his success rate with his sources.

According to a “source.” I hate that kind of stuff.

Source: They put three crap-throwing monkeys in a room, each QB was assigned a wall (not sure why Bubby Brister was on the fourth wall) and the QB was chosen by which wall had the most crap at 3:00pm.

Tomlin approved, oviously.

Or Kenny won the ping pong tourney Monday

Now that’s what the **** I’m talking about. Thanks Artie for listening to your experts I mean your beloved fan base. Afterall, sometimes we know better than the coach.

Wish they prepared him during our mini-bye week and he saw first team reps. Yesterday's results could have been different if he had been properly prepared to start. I'm exicted and optimistic as to what Kenny can do with this offense.

Good news but why not keep it under wraps and make Buffalo prepare for both? Need any edge we can.

I said before the season started that Pickett would start a game by Week 10.
I'll wait for the official word from Shades' presser tomorrow but I'll be calling out muh haters in the FB group.
Dude still ain't PayPal'd me the $20 I bet that Trubisky would start the season.

I thought he would start by week 3.
Honestly I thought Trubisky would be better than he was. But then he doesn't have a lot to work with.
Right now this isn't a very good football team no matter who the QB is. They've got worse problems.

saying Trubisky doesn't have alot to work with is ridiculous. This team has weapons on the offense. The O-line is far better than it's been since 2019. Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren, Dionte Johnson, Chase Claypool, George Pickens, Calvin Austin III, Miles Boykin, Pat Freiermuth, Zack Gentry & Connor Heyward. More talent there than most teams.....they just need a leader on the offense. Pickett has the "IT" factor....give the kid a chance he will make them all better!

Absolutely.

After the loss to the Patriots, when asked about his patience regarding the quarterback position, Tomlin said: "We're two weeks in; I'm not even in the neighborhood of having discussions like that, man..."

After the loss to the Browns, on Mitch: "He's been better each and every week, and I've seen enough evidence of continued improvement for me to be encouraged."

Two quarters later, he's pulling Trubisky at halftime and putting Pickett in mid-game, without having given the rookie any reps in the 10 days prior.

How can the Steelers respect Tomlin as their leader, when he's so obviously full of ****?

During preseason he was the 3rd best QB, bu since they signed him, he was getting the shot come hell or high water. Tomlin was going to show EVERYONE that he could fix him, just like he was trying to do with Haskins. Well, he showed EVERYONE he doesn’t know ****.

I swear. Some of you guys are ******* delusional. Maybe Mike could put you on speed dial, and discuss all the teams strategy with you. Maybe pregame he could tell all his game plan to the world. Of course there are little white lies told by any head coach to any media outlet. Did anyone really seriously ever even think that Mitch would not start the season? I actually give Tomlin credit for putting him in way earlier than I thought he would. I anticipated the bye-week no matter what. Speaking of people so obviously full of ****? You’re starting to rank right up there.

By the way. I am not a huge Tomlin supporter. I have said many times on here that I would have let him go after the Tebow disaster, and I said it then. Not years after. I was always giving him the benefit of the doubt after that game. I think it’s just getting far too stale. It’s time.
But your comments up top are really quite something.

Line is slightly better than last year, still not good, but somehow Harris is worse and Claypool and Johnson still dropping passes left and right.

Totally agree. Or if the defense had just made a stop on either of the last two drives, that would have gotten us the W.
