The Donkeys were really stacked at Olb… and had to cut a good player, so they dealt him for a late round pick… good asset management… now if we would trade one of our guys in a similar deep position we could get another late round asset to fill another hole…

Solid depth (finally), that you (hope) you can put out there and he will be able to do the job adequately. Never really had that feeling with the guys they put on the field behind Watt and Highsmith last year.

Steelers a perfect for for Malik Reed. 3-4 and they know how to bring pressure. He should be a top rotational OLB. Multiple teams were interested in Malik once he went on trade block. The trade also means Broncos have no worries about Randy Gregory's health for opener. #9sports

Maybe we could keep Rashed Jr and move Truszka to ps???

I can live with that. We gain a decent player potentially and only trade down a round late. No loss of actual picks just positioning.

I really like this move. Reed was everything We didn’t have at backup olb..

He is a young, solid player, with very good pass rush abilities, that may have untapped potential and seems more suited to our system then where he was playing…

his 2.4 million dollar salary is palatable for his pass rush skillset.

He has primarily a backup mentality with extensive starter experience due to injuries and trades constantly opening up space for him. It’s unlikely that he is upset with playing time here…

All in all he is exactly what i hoped we would get instead of Avery

Seems like a very good move. Didn't give much up and get a young, proven rotational player. He immediately should be the top backup at OLB.
