Steelers Waive Jamir Jones

Why the heck did they keep him over Roche? Everything they touch right now is turning to ****.
I had no problem keeping Jones, but they should've kept Roche over some of the other guys. Maybe Roche never does anything, you just can't ignore the potential he flashed in the preseason and his play in college.

Ummmm yyyeeeeaaahhhh. Watt and Highsmith off injury and Ingram…that’s it? Maybe sign another DB and release a OL

Hopefully, this means both Watt and Highsmith are completely ready to roll.

This feels like early tomlin bumbling at olb… in 07-like 12 or 13 we often cut a developmental olb that flashed… heck even recently i guess… i swear that pedigree stuff gets lodged in his head… the more low round and udfa guys you convert into contributing players the less premium assets you have to spend on them…

If you dont commit to young guys you end up with a group that ages out without starters behind tgem ready to play and you get our oline now…

They signed Tuszka off the practice squad and on to the active roster after waiving Jones. Not saying it's the right move, but since Tuszka played 27 snaps to Jones' 20 last week, I'm assuming they've seen some things in practice and the game that made them believe that Tuszka was the better young, low round developmental player. We'll all get to see if they were right.

I heard they are planning on signing Jones to the practice squad if he clears waivers. So basically Jones and Tuska just swapped places.
Yeah apparently they are enamored with the latter’s special team experience from the Broncos… again I don’t understand why we only keep 4 olbs when their value is so high on this d

I'd give the guy another shot over Tushie. Tushie didn't do anything in the game to warrant jumping Jones.

YOU have just described the Mike Tomlin show exactly.

They missed with their evaluation of Jones. Tomlin is really thin at olb.

Dpn't forget we got Highsmith as a young up coming starter. True, every team misswes out on one here and thewre but Ola still has a way to go but is trending in the right direction. Hind sight we should have kept him but then we can't turn the clock back.

I've always said Coach Tomlon seems to have a little conflict on talent evaluation at times. He definately holds onto players "vet" status to long.

This is literally how they lose every young pass rushing prospect… one would think that they would learn by now, but they seem thick in the skull

The thing is a prospect that bounces around a lot has a low chance of developing because of idiotic nfl practices…. They have to learn a bunch of different terminology and schemes and if they don’t get a chance early in their careers teams rarely give them snaps to prove themselves after 25 or 26…

Rule of thumb is you probably aren’t going to get a edge rusher with potential on the practice squad…
Keep 5 olbs you ******* fucktards… do it… that sixth ilb is growing moss on the sideline

Period for sarcasm. I didn’t think a semicolon would get the same effect. I think an exclamation mark would’ve been too overboard.

I'm definately not a puncuation scholar but just wanted to give you a little crap on the Proper part.
