Steelers will technically have two first rounders..

Tomlin will find a way to turn the card in at the conclusion of night one, the announcers will announce at the start of night 2 "well the Steelers turned the card in for pick number 33 last night as the broadcast ended but we couldn't actually announce it until they were technically on the clock"

At least some good news besides the win. Man I sure hope they attack the offseason and get us back to being a playoff caliber team.

Lots of trade value with the 1st pick in Round 2, and 24 hours to think about it.
 
Yeah, saw that. The win today and Patsies**** loss means they move ahead of us in the draft. Steelers probably wind up with 15 or 16, then 32, then 48. Three of top 48 picks - can get a legit LT, CB, NT.

Steelers get pick 18 as of right now. I don't know if the Packers and Lions game later tonight will affect that. But, if it does, they will probably only gain one spot to 17.

Hey, since the 14 teams that make the playoffs draft 19-32 (ignore the Dolphins situation), that means the Steelers are in running for the "Didn't Make the SB Super Bowl"!!

The dolphins making the playoffs screwed us because if they were the ones that missed the playoffs instead of the Pasterisks, tgey don’t have a pick so we would have picked one spot higher

I felt that Claypool was worth a low first or very high second on potential alone so its really ideal… again teams are desperate for wrs…
 
Never thought I'd hear myself say but I don't think they will or maybe should use their first pick on oline. I think FA will.determine that need and their guys on oline are under contract.

Where do you want them to use it?
 
Survey what they can keep get in FA. And if there is a game changer on oline I'm ok. But would be alright with stud DL, DB, ILB.

Always seems to be one player at 32 or 33 that it seems has no business being available. Either way 2 firsts is nice👍.

Thing is Dotson and Moore both had nice run blocking moments. Very hard decision but I would say if LT is there in 1 being the top value you take it. As you can move Moore to G or RT provided someone beats him out. I would like to see WR upgraded early maybe Round 2. Then with the other pick in 1 it could be BPA at DT or CB.

Of course you want to stay with the BPA if it isn't equal you go in another direction...

The key is moments. Moore could have the light flip in year three, or he could max out like Okorafor. This line is missing one stud, but once you get passed the top two LTs, I don't know if I'm sold to take the other options over say a CB or another premium position.

Exactly how it falls. As the draft positioning is different now. LT might not be the BPA at 18. Maybe WR or CB is. Want to see how the new decision makers do in this draft.
