Stephen A Smith says it’s time

Even the loyal supporter Stephen A Smith says it’s time to move on from Tomlin.
Basically what the majority of Steelers fans know already.😉 way past time to be politically correct.

If Stephen A Smith thinks so it must be true.
Maybe he will go on ESPN and start screaming that Tomlin needs to go.
Seriously, I couldn’t care less what that tool thinks or says.
What’s important to me is the collapse of the fan base which you’re going to see more and more of.
They lose in Baltimore which I think they will, they come home for a Monday night game against the Dolphins to a lot of empty seats. That will get Rooney’s attention, empty seats.

I realize most of you don't care about his opinion but clearly the ground swell is happening. When guys like this speak it gets louder and the gears start to move. If not this year certainly next.
You're right because is probably the face of ESPN. He has the biggest platform and the biggest reach. Even if it doesn't get ARII to make a move alone, it may help push the two sides to a mutual parting ways.

The ground swell is happening for sure, and now national sport media is on board (Stephen A., Dan Patrick, PFT, etc). for those entinties to say it, you know it must be bad.

Someone on this forum said that as long as there is a .500 season, A2 will be good with keeping Capt. Cool Shades! BREAKING NEWS. Steelers will NOT be a .500 team this year.

I predict we lose to BAL (duh) and end up losing to MIA on national TV

It probably doesn't get Dookie off his comfy tookus, but it does give him cover when the media voices get clearer. This is no way to run a team, let alone the Pittisburgh Steelers, but its beyond obvious that Dookie is all about HIS Head Coach Tomlin.

Maybe he'll kick him upstairs to be the FO fluffer for a couple years, then get him traded as its possible. I'd take a week old pizza and a case of IC empties for him, but maybe the Maras/Tisch are dumb enough to help their in-laws out here.

I was at the game. Wow! Booing Renegade and chanting for Tomlin's head. The mood was beyond foul. We had a half time lead, and NOBODY there thought we could win the game without the Bills turning it over 3/4 more times.

Might be time for Rooney to sell out to an owner who might care about the team, the city, and the fans. Yes, it's THAT bad.

I hear you, but those empty seats are paid for seats-which is the #1 thing for this Rooney in charge

I think the fire Tomlin chants are the best way to talk to this owner

I was thinking the same thing at half time, is it possible to get another 5 turnover game out of this defense?

I will interact with the board, I will watch free agency, I will go to the draft. I will not watch another Mike Tomlin led Steelers game. I have been fighting with this for awhile. That stress level finally came to a head. I am done. When this team wants to step away from their Bob Nutting approach to actually caring what fans want I will turn on the game again…

I want a coach that will be competitive win or lose. Not fall apart year in and year out and incapable of change. Not have embarrassing uncompetitive matchups.

Couple things. Only thing I laughed at was the Stephen A. take was that 20 teams will want him. Three will and they are all dumpster fires. And good luck to them.
I will happily watch three years of **** after Tomlin’s gone because I know that will likely go with a to the studs rebuild that is required. But this has to happen before that can even start.

Been this way for a while, the games are recorded, if they win I’ll watch it. There was always your typical fan stress but it was just becoming an angry experience at our version of Groundhog Day with the knowledge that nothing will change, not healthy.

I was thinking about coming up there for the draft.
Slash, I haven’t decided what to shout out though. Should I yell to fire Tomlin or should I yell to sell the team?

I watch the games. I hope for wins. I have to admit I'm not fun to watch the games with for the past several years. I'm very jaded about it. I dont think my buddy and his son who still believe in MT enjoy watching with me. I have a bet with him. If the Steelers win a playoff game with Tomlin I pay for him to get drunk. If he they don't he is going to formally admit I've been right the last 5 years.

Not likely. The MNF game is way past Deuce's bedtime.

I think the fire Tomlin rant will work just fine.😅

Sounds like a pretty good approach.🤝
