Interestingly, the last 2 guys he talks to almost have semi-coherent responses. If a person is fabulously wealthy due to inheritance, is if fair that he/she has so much excess while other people struggle to pay bills?
Although I would have further questioned him and said, "So that would be like if a TA or somebody tutored a student who was struggling, that tutored student should have like 40% taken off his grade because somebody else just sort of helped him or her improve their grade from their own academic resources. It isn't fair for a tutored kid to have the same academic outcome as one who just studied by themself, right?"
As for the "stock market" comment and that only taking the push of a button, I would say, "So you're saying that somebody who predominantly relies upon their intellect and critical thinking skills for a living don't deserve a higher wage than somebody who does more physical kinds of labor. So basically, engineers, software developers, writers, people like that more fairly should be paid something like minimum wage since they don't actually "work".
