I dare you to look in the first 20 pages

http://steelernation.com/showthread...ad-now-with-100-more-Kessel-and-a-STANLEY-CUP!

I got mine

Sid forgot how to play

The Pens just lost to some guy named Al Montoya, I won't be holding my breath about making the playoffs

Pens might have more "talent", but the Bolts are just a better TEAM than the Pens - there, I said it

Fleury for MVP - by far the best player on this team

Of course I am the hockey genius

The Pens are Kessel's team now.- bout time

The more I call them out the more they win.

I stand corrected for noting that Kessel would ruin the Pens, as he did the Loafs and Bruins.
He was was a quiet, non-negative force for the first time in his career, and that was great. He even showed up in his own end a couple times, clearly beneficial.

I was wrong.

BUT his sister is still a better, and tougher player.

Oh and to add in how much I questioned Sid's leadership. All the team needed was a bit of discipline and speed. Thank you Sullivan for the turn around.

I won't even go into the whole Despres - Lovejoy thing...too soon

I read that entire thread before the playoffs because I wasn't really following the team. It was awesome. Helluva season for all. Especially the coach.

Same. I read the entire thing before the Stanley Cup Finals. Early on in the season the Pens were an uninspired group. There were flashes and glimpses here and there. I think it was against Toronto on halloween??? Where the Pens were starting to wake up a bit. Went through an ugly November stretch. The firing of Johnston and bringing Sullivan was not pretty at first. Sully lost his first four games. The win against the Red Wings in late December ignited my hope for the team. Now it was still a bumpy ride throughout january/february. But as soon as guys like Hagelin and Daley were brought in and the baby Pens became Pens---The team went on a roll. It was a damn fun season

Favorite memory from the regular season? Scott Wilson scoring his first NHL goal. Shame he got injured. He was a special player. Favorite memory in the playoffs? Too much to name. Conor Sheary, HBK. The doubt I had when the boys were down in the series against Tampa and then coming back strong. That game Sullivan challenged the goal cause Drouin was offside. Thats where I kinda thought "Ok, the Pens have some luck on their side"

Should I start another offseason thread now? We've had our 10 responses

I had a chick argue with me during a finals game that Sid is 40 years old. But she was a HUGE pens fan. :/

Not the first 20 pages but I thought they were done when they had their backs to the wall against Tampa.

We'll probably see pretty early if they are ready to keep playing hockey or go play golf. I hope I'm wrong but I think its the latter. I'm not hearing much of a killer, do whatever it takes attitude to win the cup vibe at this point. It's more like they are doing everything they can to f it up at this point.

His 10 goals in the playoffs say he was more than just a "quiet, non-negative force"

I thought they were done at that point too. Tampa was matching the Pens speed that series, so it was a tough, nail biting, liver killing series

I questioned Sid's leadership as well. I have given him a hard time sometimes, but he proved me wrong. I'm sorry, Sid.

The year is gone bringing in a no name for Johnston, we have thrown the towel in. OH was I wrong.
