NE, Seat, 5/2
GB 11/2
Den 6/1
Dall 8/1
Pgh 12/1
Colts 30/1
Balt/Car/Cinci 40/1
Det 50/1
AZ 75/1

Nothing really jumps out at me. If AZ had a starting QB their odds would jump up a lot.

Discuss.

I think either the Steelers are too low, or Dallas and Denver are too high (meaning I think Pgh has as good a shot as those two).

I bet them in pre-season and got 25-1...

6 weeks ago...I didn't think I had a chance.

Now.....I gotta feelin' Pittsburgh......

.....did Rog re-allow them video cameras in the opponents locker rooms? I don't remember Marsha winning a game that means anything in a long long long long long long time.

I like the *pats even less now that they picked up Mr. I'm didn't get enough carries so I'm gonna take my sopping wet vagina and walk off the field even though the people that pay me millions to carry a pigskin still have a game going on-never mind that the games best RB is acting like a Boss AGAIN tonight and I cannot accept that someone is ahead of me on the depth chart.

Now, to be fair , HWKUPA, I feel play off games are meaningful, and Brady has won tons of them since his last SB win. If you are of the position that ONLY a SB WIN qualifies as a meaningful game, then Ben hasn't won "a meaningful game" since 2008. That is 6 years ago. But as far as your take on Blount, I agree that was a totally lame move. I like passion, but not when it crosses over to stupidity. His often does.

I think it will happen as long as someone else in the AFC takes out the Pats*.

I have a difficult time imagining this defense slowing down the Patriots. I think we get mollywopped by them if we make it that far.

But, anything can happen I suppose.

The Pats* with Belicheat and Brady have been our kryptonite even when our D was ranked #1.
Upside, Tebow is gone (hey Cleveland.....) and P. Manning seems to lost little zip off the ol' fastball.

Silence.............lets take this one game at a time....its a new season.........first team to 4 wins takes all the marbles....and the can....

I'm just glad the Jets, Bucs and Redskins aren't in the AFC Playoffs..........We have a shot

Realistically, with bell out, our odds are less. Definately a surmountable feat and I do HOPE aloud. Would be kewl beating the cheaters and somehow exposing their cheating ways along the way. Our team is HOT, fire takes care of a lot of things. OBVIOUSLY

Salute the nation

With Bell we can beat anyone. Without him we can beat the Ravens.

Just when I was getting the slightest bit optimsitc about their post season prospects, largely due the pass rush they've found over the past month in conjunction with the offensive production, Bell's knee violently met Reggie Nelson.

The only chance I give them of winning the SB, given current circumstances, is Roethlisberger playing his best ball for over a month and James Harrison finding his prime during that span.

Kelvin Beachum, Ramon Foster, Maurkice Pouncey, David DeCastro, Marcus Gilbert, Heath Miller, Matt Spaeth, Mike Adams and Will Johnson. As much as we talk about the Big Three and other skill position guys, the play of these men on offense will have a large part in determining how far we go in the playoffs.

The steelers have the best road they could have asked for. They should beat the Ravens whether Bell plays or not. The Ravens are limping into the playoffs.

Denver also looks shaky. If it's cold when they play then Manning's arm may be shot. Lebeau is taking more chances this year because he has to. Also, the offense is better so the defense can afford to take more risks. Take away the middle of the field and force Manning to make longer throws to the outside and maybe you can jump one of his flutter balls.

New England is the challenge. But i think Cincy is actually built to give the Pats a game. They can run the ball with power, get pressure up the middle and have some good DBs.

The Steelers would need a healthy Bell to beat the Pats. It would still be tough. Revis is great but i still like Antonio in that matchup. I don;t think the Pats would match Revis on Brown. It wouldn't be worth it. Brown is just too quick and the Steelers use him mostly on shorter stuff. Revis would just be chasing him all over the field.

That would give favorable matchups to the rest of the steelers WRs and to Heath. I think Revis would man up Bryant whenever he is in the game.

I think the steeler defense will let them down this year. They just don't have the pass rushers or the safeties.

New England and Denver both have Ds that can only play with a lead. Baltimore has no secondary. Cincy gambles more than we do. Indy cant play a top notch QB. there is only one defense worth a damn in the NFL playoffs and Seattle is in the NFC....

let me say this... there isn't a better offense talentwise in the NFL than the Steelers right now. if they don't turtle up and press the O vs every teams weaknesses they have a real shot. they gamble enough on D to at least disrupt some of the better o's they face

**** it, nothing would be sweeter than knocking off the Pats on our way.
I hear ya but the last three times the Steelers have been in the SB they didn't have to face the Pats* in the playovs. I think they've beaten the Pats* twice in the 14 seasons that Brady has been their QB.

Ben
secondary

we go as far as they allow

but as one poster said

one day at a timeeeee
