Seems kind of crazy to me. He thinks he is going to all of a sudden be competitive on the major league level after not playing since high school?

Yea, Bo did it but he was pretty much the most incredible athlete of our time.

Jordan failed at it, pretty badly.

Deion pulled it off.

But Tim isn't the athlete that they were.

I say it would make more sense to try Canadian football. I am still shocked with how bad Tim is with his accuracy (except vs. the Steelers in the playoffs).

Hard to say... Apparently he has a good swing, but translating that to an actual MLB game is another story. One MLB guy said 1 month of training and 2 years in a minor league and Tebow may make it. Hopefully he can throw a baseball better than a football. I am still shocked he did not catch on somewhere. Seems like he really got blackballed. He was not pretty, but he did win.

Tebow was not a QB. Football could of been a career for him if he switched to RB or FB. Pop, Tebow is pretty athletic and has a work ethic commited to fitness. The dude is strong. Just not QB material. I think he can do baseball

I'd still take him as our third string QB in a heartbeat.

I saw all kinds of people freaking out over this. I like the guy and hope it works out, but just can't understand why people have any issue with his latest pursuit. Good for him for giving it a shot!

Jim Bowden on 93.7 this morning. Went to Tebow's MLB workout and says below-average arm (!), below-average defense, good power, and good speed. Says that with some work he could be a serviceable LF or 1B.

He cracked a HR on his first swing.

Tebow probably would play DH or 1B if he ever were to make the majors. A 40/80 arm means that roughly 85% of players have a better arm than he does. The days of lumbering outfielders who can't get in the gap and have below average arms are long gone.
