If he wins I'll vote for him, but I think he's our worst pick of the lot between Trump, Rubio, and Kasich. I think he'll do very poorly on women's issues, and is unliked by his peers.

Trump leads in SC by 10 points or more every poll except NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. This is odd, and I would not put it past this poll being a fraud.

I want Cruz out of this race as he can damage the other candidates in a debate, and might have won Iowa with dirty tricks. Perhaps when the smoke clears, Curz can be Trump's first pick for the court. Ha! Cruz has a sharp legal mind.

I hate Ted Cruz.

The chances of Cruz getting approved for the Supreme Court when even his Republican Senate colleagues hate him, I think below zero.

Cruz will not leave race, particularly when he is likely to win Texas on Super Tuesday.

I think only way to stop Trump would be if Texas goes to Cruz, Michigan goes to Kasich and Florida goes to Rubio.
Then you would have a legitimate cluster __ __ __ __ taking place.

Cruz would be my last choice , but I would certainly vote for him over Clinton or Sanders

Something about cruz seems off, but i can't quite figure out what. I think part of it is just the way he talks. He sounds like a Tv minister. He also comes across to me as fake. I do not think Rubio is ready. He can't seem to handle the pressure too well. He trips over his words or mis-speaks a lot. Just does not seem ready for stern leadership. Kaisch is just meh to me. I don't even know where to start with Trump. Still needs a lot less BS and more substance. I am getting tired of the same old "America doesn't win speech". Come up with something different already. I still have a hard time people will pull the lever for trump come crunch time.

So Cruz isn't likable, but Trump is? Why?

Cruz has never called anyone fat, ugly, a liar, or stupid that I can recall? Or threaten to sue everyone that disagrees with him. Or threaten to undermine his party, and the country, by running as a 3rd party candidate if he doesn't win the nomination. Or make childish faces during debates.

How anyone that supports Trump can call any other candidate 'unlikable' is simply beyond my comprehension.

I think Kasich is the most ready to be president. I just don't think he has enough national recognition. Rubio is probably 4 years away from being ready. which leaves Trump or Cruz. What a rough year for Romney to decide not to run.

Dittos. I will not vote for him in the primary but will vote for him in November if need be.

I think either Rubio or Kasich will end up being the running mate of either Trump or Cruz to bring in OH or FL.

Yep Kasich for vp makes a lot of since for all remaining candidates. not only for ohio, but he also has the most experience.

I'm not sure who I support right now. Personally I think Trump is a blow hard and don't see me voting for him in the Primary. I like a lot of what Cruz has to say, but other times not so much....

doesn't matter which one comes out with the nomination....I will support any of them over Ms Clinton or the Democratic Socialist......

There is some silly stat out there that says no Republican has won the Presidency without winning Ohio since like 1888.

For whatever it's worth, Kasich seems far and away the most reasonable GOP candidate. By miles and miles...

I think it has to do with Trump calls it like he sees it no matter how wrong or ignorant it is. Cruz seems to put up a front and is sneaky deceitful.

Same here. Plus Cruz always looks like he's been crying. There is something about his face that I don't trust.

Not a big fan of Cruz's personality, he has zero charisma, but I would happily vote for him. He's very smart guy, and probably as close to a real conservative as we're ever going to get.

I don't know what I'll do if Trump is the nominee. I honesty don't think he'd be any different from Hillary, so I might abstain or vote third party if it's between those two. But if it was Sanders I'd have to hold down the vomit and vote for Trump.

Still can't believe Trump has people fooled that he's a conservative.

I will write in Rand Paul. Cruz is an anti-Liberty NDAA Ptratiot Act supporter. I'm out on voting for big government authoritarian types simply because they have an R behind their names.

I don't even think it's that so much that as it is people are sick to ******* death of politicians. Plus they saw how bad off we became under Obama. At this point, I think people are desperate for SOMETHING.....something OTHER than leftist, marxist, racist policy.

There it is in a nutshell Lyn! The people that still work for a living are tired of the BS that they're not working hard enough to support those that choose not to work.
And I'm not speaking of your grandparents that are now living on Social Security, but the fast growing segment of the population that has somehow played the system and been classified as disabled.
And again, there are folks out there that are truly disabled, but it's way too easy for many to get on the gravy train. I have someone that shows up at my counter that has a diagnosis of MS for the last decade at least and runs marathons.
She speaks intelligently and zero physical symptoms. Just another 40 something slopping at the government trough.

I would happily vote for Cruz, but he does have a face that you wanna slap.

I have been watching primaries and elections since George H.W. Bush was elected. Whoever is drawing the biggest crowds during the primaries and connects best with his base wins. Isn't that the case?
Romney was not a people person.

Trump is drawing lots of people to hear him speak. His base will turn out and vote for him and I think he'll attract more people who voted for Obama than the media thinks.

I agree 100%. And if you listen to Kasich he is not going after anyone which makes sense if he's thinking VP.

Agreed. If I didn't know who Cruz was and heard him on the radio, I'd like him. He is sharp. On TV, his looks, body language and speaking style can make people uncomfortable upon first view. People judge on first views.

Even the far left would take Trump over him.
