Texans Sign Josh Johnson (who?) as QB

How would Crapernick ever expect a JOB with Huston???? He named them (owner) in his "everybody is against me" LAW suit. Kapernick is totally done in the NFL and he made that choice. Girlfriend or not, he will be held accountable. If his actions and sacrifice lead to less oppression then MORE power to him but I think his protest has had a negative affect on what he was protesting.

At this point Houston would be better off tanking and getting a better draft pick. Add another top player to that roster and they could be in position to be one of the best teams in the AFC in two or three years.

Then let me add another big **** YOU to Kap. I hope he is never signed by any team ever again. Go play in Canada, you ******* loser.

He can't. CFL commissioner placed a stay on any team offering him a contract. Commissioner deemed ol' Kap would be a negative distraction to their league.

Correction: Johnny Manziel was prevented from signing with a CFL team, not Kaepernick.

Book deal, speaking engagements, etc. .... For those thinking "Ol Kap" is going broke because he's not playing in the NFL, you should think again. Hell, he may end up making MORE money and doing less physical damage to himself.

Bill O'Brien said yesterday I think that he thought Kaepernick is a good player, but he hasn't played in a while. Then, he proceeds to sign a guy that hasn't played since 2011. That is a bad look.

I think Kaep is an ******* of the highest order, but I am also starting to think he might have a case. Wonder if Goodell got on the phone after seeing this and said "WTF?"

Well, I guess Charles Robinson @ yahoo sports will have something to write about at least.

Wasn't he a pitcher on the Marlins?

You're thinking of Randy...............................

I thought he was a surfer/muscian . . .

You're thinking of Don, but not the actor

You have a point but I'd have to see the tax returns before I'd believe it.

He wins this lawsuit, and he won't have to do speaking engagements anymore.

Is he on the speaking engagement circuit currently ? Still has a way to go on wining his law suit. The LAW SUIT is exactly why he will NEVER play in the NFL again. Sorry but I don't feel anything for him as his protest went the wrong way.
Do I want ANYONE oppressed, H-E-L-L no but his method, in my opinion, actually hindered his protest.

They are going to tank anyway, they won't even have to try much

Bad year for QBs

Vikings placed QB Sam Bradford on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.

It clears a spot for Teddy Bridgewater (knee) to be activated from the PUP list on Wednesday. Case Keenum will remain the Vikings' starter Week 10 against the Redskins, and Kyle Sloter will likely be his backup while Bridgewater continues to work his way back

Kap made his money. He doesn't need the NFL. If he wanted to be in the league he would be on a team playing. This is a guy who regressed after he got his big pay day and then physically broke down.

If anyone would even consider Kap the player he takes the place of should sue the living crap out of that team, the league and players union.

And the basis for the suit would be?
I mean, if some team signed Kap at this point in time, it's basically because they have an injury at QB AND, as has been shown, they can't find anyone else on the scrap heap. That means, he's not taking money from a player, since that player would presumably be put on IR. What's the basis of the suit? Hurt mangina?

My bad. Manziel has the contract stay in the CFL. Not Kaepernick. He is free to join any CFL team that will have him, but at a substantial less salary.

Josh Johnson has been a quality backup for years. He has been in many different systems.

Johnson played for Jim Harbaugh at Univ of San Diego. I keep saying Harbaugh is overrated as a coach. He had Josh Johnson, an NFL caliber QB at USD which is why he was so successful there. Then Harbaugh goes to Stanford where he ride Andrew Luck for a few seasons, never actually winning the Pac 10. Then he inherits a loaded 49er team and rode that out until the OL crumbled and he bolted.

Finally, he inherited a loaded Michigan team that just had 10 guys drafted, yet with a team that good, he managed to finish 3rd in the Big Ten
