Thank you TJ

Some pretty good company there. When it is all said and done he very well could be top 3 on the Steeler greatest of all time list.

Interesting. I would have sworn I saw Highsmith get 2.5 sacks last night. Heck, ESPN box score had him at that throughout the game. Looked today and it was down to 1.5. Must have been downgraded by the official box score *shrug*

Watt's impact and stat line was terrific last night. Got it done early batting down passes and late with the sacks. It was nice to see Highsmith finally have a breakout game. The talent is there and he has to be one of the strongest defenders on the team. He finally finished some big plays.

I think it is fair to say T.J. won that game almost on his own. (Cam helped in OT as I remember.)

Thoughts on TJ:

Intensity on par with Jack SPAT! But he has some more years to put in to draw even with Mr. Lambert. I'm not sure he can be on a level with Mr. Greene but after last night I am beginning to rethink that. Same height as both and in between the two weight wise, a pretty interesting combo---A kid that is playing with the attitude, intensity, and skill of both Steeler GOATs. Health and longevity to Mr. Watt. Steeler Nation enjoys your efforts.

TJ Watt stats last night:
7 TKL, 3 TFL, 2 SKS, 3 PD, 1 FF

Bud Dupree's first two seasons combined.......................... !!!

Just watched the replay of the strip sack again, triple teamed, and the first guy's first contact with Watt is in his facemask.

Edit :

Watt is second in the league in sacks with 7. He missed basically a game and a half. Miles Garrett has 8, he had 4.5 in one game. On that same note, Chandler Jones had 5 sacks week 1, no sacks since. Joey Bosa and Aaron Donald are tied with 3.5 each. I see things like this and it blows my mind when people say "Watt just isn't himself" when he doesn't have a monster game...

Stains fan tried stating Myles Garrett is superior to Watt and will easily win DPOY. Cited more sacks & TFL.

Watt is 2nd in NFL to Myles Garrett in sacks (8 to 7) but…

Garrett compiled 4.5 in one game vs. Bears in rookie Justin Fields first career start. Only 3.5 sacks over 5 games.

Watt has 3 games of 2 sacks over 5 games played. He’s forced 3 fumbles & recovered 1.

Garrett hasn’t forced a fumble much less part of a turnover so far this year.

Garrett is a prima donna good for assault with a deadly helmet and either an idiot or a narcissist for complaining that he was drug tested.

I’ll take Watt.

I can see with the media hype and a couple wins where the factory of sadness may get the idea they are perinial champions. I can also see if you squint a little one could think Miles is a beast but also realize that beast goes both ways. He was willing to attach a player on the field of play with a helmet and then claim racism lies to justify it. Very soft back-lash for punishment as Rudolf paid the higher price for simply being a player on the field of play.

The point being made is TJ WATT is a true football player where-as Miles Garret is a very good football player who has a mixed identity. Barring injury to either player, TJ will out perform Miles completely where there will be no mistake as to who is better.

I would take TJ WATT over Miles Garret 7 days a week even if TJ played elsewhere.

NOTE: It's good to see the Browns fans remain delusional so as to get their hopes up only to be Factory of sadness let down.
